Important Safety Instructions  
1. Read Instructions - All the safety and operating  
instruction should be read before the product is  
operated.

15. Outdoor Antenna Grounding - If an outside  
antenna is connected to the receiver, be sure the  
antenna system is grounded so as to provide some  
protection against voltage surges and built-up static  
charges. Article 810 of the National Electrical  
Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, provides information  
with regard to proper grounding of the mast and  
supporting structure, grounding of the mast and  
supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire  
to an antenna-discharge unit, size of grounding  
conductors, location of antenna-discharge

Powering the Unit  
To power the unit, plug the included AC cord into a standard AC outlet  
(120V~60Hz).

Docking an iPod  
Step 1: Turn the Adjustable Dial for iPod until the arrow on the dial is pointing to the listed iPod  
model to be docked.  
iPod models and memory sizes that are not listed on the Dock Adjustment Dial can be  
docked by manually adjusting the dial to the depth that fits the iPod best.  
Step 2: Connect the iPod to the iPod connector inside the Dock for iPod.  
When the unit is plugged in, using AC power, the docked iPod will charge. If the unit is  
running on batteries, DC power, the docked iPod will not charge.  
Playing an iPod  
Step 1: After docking an iPod, adjust the Power Switch to the On position.  
Step 2: Adjust the Source Switch (FM,AM,iPod,Aux In) to the iPod position.  
Step 3: Press the Play/Pause Button to begin playing the docked iPod.  
Tuning the Radio  
Step 1: Adjust the Power Switch to the On position.  
Step 2: Adjust the Source Switch (FM,AM,iPod,Aux In) to the FM or AM position.  
Step 3: Turn the Tuning Dial to the desired station.  
Step 4: Extend the FM Antenna to improve FM radio reception.  
An AM antenna is built into the unit. Adjust the unit to improve AM radio reception.  
Using the Auxiliary Input  
Step 1: Connect an MP3 player or other audio source to the Auxiliary Input.  
This requires a 3.5mm auxiliary input cable, not included.  
Step 2: Adjust the Power Switch to the On position.  
Step 3: Adjust the Source Switch (FM,AM,iPod,Aux In) to the Aux In position.  
Step 4: Audio played from the connected MP3 player or other audio source will now be heard  
through the unit’s speakers.

Control Definitions
